Job summary

Danske Bank’s Warsaw office seeks an experienced Risk and Control Officer to join the Business Risk Framework team. You will strengthen first line risk management, integrate AI into practices, and collaborate with business units to promote a proactive risk culture.

You will drive development of frameworks, tools, and training, while ensuring alignment with governance, regulatory needs, and evolving business priorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in first line risk management practices and tools.
• Understanding of products and product lifecycle is beneficial.
• Interest in AI and its impact on risk management and business transformation.
• Strong analytical, project management, and execution skills.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to plan and complete assignments independently across multiple tasks.
• Continuous improvement mindset to optimize processes and efficiency.
• High integrity and strong time management.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance risk management frameworks, tools and support solutions.
• Shape BRF team strategy, driving simplification and consistent ways of working.
• Lead AI adoption and Risk Management Universe integration in first line risk.
• Collaborate with Group stakeholders to align risk strategies and requirements.
• Provide practical risk advisory and promote risk awareness through engagement.
• Improve frameworks, governance, tools and processes to boost team effectiveness.
• Deliver training and knowledge sharing for BCPM.
• Support new initiatives aligned with BRF priorities.
