Job summary

Standard Chartered seeks a proactive AI risk governance professional to lead second-line oversight of AI risk, align with OTCR frameworks, and coordinate enterprise-wide AI governance activities. The role emphasizes risk analysis, issue tracking, and stakeholder engagement to drive safe AI adoption.

Based in a flexible hybrid pattern across Poland and other locations, the role focuses on coordinating controls, reporting, and continuous improvement in AI risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-line oversight of AI risk, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, monitored, and governed in line with the Bank’s framework and objectives.
• Maintain the enterprise AI risk profile, consolidating inputs across teams to highlight key risks, exposures, and emerging issues.
• Analyze AI risk, control, and issue data to identify trends, gaps, and priorities, and provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate AI risk governance activities across OTCR, ensuring consistency in policies, standards, reporting, and assessments.
• Support AI SME team deliverables, tracking actions, managing dependencies, escalating issues, and driving timely completion.
• Enhance AI risk governance practices, including risk assessments, controls, oversight processes, reporting, and management information.
• Promote AI risk awareness and education, translating complex concepts into practical guidance for safe adoption.
