Qualifications

• Senior level of experience in software procurement.
• Understanding of on-premise and cloud-based software models.
• Professional communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Category Management advice and consultation across the company.
• Exercise global purchasing responsibility for Enterprise Software category (Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, etc.).
• Contribute to the development and implementation of supplier governance and management processes to ensure sustained value and mitigation of supplier risk.
• Monitor cost trends for assigned categories, reporting on impact and avoidance strategies.
• Develop category baseline information to ensure understanding of current supplier / spend underpinning decisions.
• Collect and conduct analysis of spend and other relevant data to identify expense reduction and operational improvement opportunities.
• Lead strategic supplier negotiations, driving positive outcomes that achieve all relevant total cost and business objectives.
• Monitor supplier performance and end-user satisfaction through the terms of the contract.
• Develop and ensure execution of category strategies that balance company / supplier relationships in collaboration with business partners.
• Address and recommend issue / risk mitigation strategies.
