Job summary

Smith+Nebhews in Wroclaw is seeking a Global Category Leader - Digital, Software & AI Procurement to define and execute the software procurement strategy across enterprise applications, SaaS, and AI-enabled solutions. You will partner with IT, Digital and business leaders to maximise value while balancing governance and speed.

As an M2 leader, you will coach category managers, shape supplier strategy, and drive cost optimisation, risk management and innovation.

Qualifications

Significant experience in software procurement, technology sourcing, commercial management or related leadership roles.
Experience leading category strategies that deliver measurable business value.
Experience leading complex software negotiations and supplier relationships at a regional or global level.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders in matrix environments.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the global software category strategy aligned to business priorities.
Build multi-year value pipeline across cost optimisation, rationalisation, demand management and innovation.
Act as Procurement's AI Champion for AI-enabled software and emerging tech.
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing software procurement team.
