Job summary

VML is seeking a Senior Project Manager and Release Manager on a contractual basis to join our Delivery Team in Poland. The role requires coordinating technical teams, managing releases, and ensuring successful delivery across environments.

You will engage with developers, architects, and stakeholders to align on strategy and execution. You will drive agile or waterfall projects, assess risks, and mentor Junior PMs while managing client expectations.

Qualifications

• Project management qualifications.
• Experience in ecommerce environments (retail preferred).
• Understanding of Jenkins or other release pipeline tools.
• Experience with code management tools such as Git, Bitbucket, SVN.
• Familiarity with Terraform and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Release and technical reporting on project deliverables and release pipeline.
• Identify technical risks and propose mitigations.
• Communicate with stakeholders and chair technical meetings as needed.
• Lead internal technical specialists and coordinate resources.
• Ensure timely delivery and suggest process improvements.
