Job summary

Hatch Ltd. in Katowice, Poland, is seeking a Senior Rail Systems Signalling and Train Control Engineer to join our Global Rail Systems team and support international projects from Poland.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of experience in signaling design, testing, and operation of mainline or commuter systems, plus strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in signaling design, installation, testing, and maintenance of mainline/commuter systems.
• Experience with signaling and train control systems, level crossing designs, and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare designs for level crossing warning systems per regional regulations.
• Prepare designs for signal system logic (electronic and relay-based).
• Lead development of signal system block designs based on performance criteria.
• Prepare signal system drawings (Schemes, Interlocking Data, Trackside Design).
• Develop material and construction specifications and quantity estimates.
• Perform field inspections and assist with testing.
• Collaborate with clients to incorporate signal requirements into documents.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
