Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a senior Automation Tester with 7+ years of Java-based testing experience to join a high‑impact initiative for a global investment bank. You will help build a cloud‑native data platform on Microsoft Azure and automate complex data transformations across 50+ business units.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Automation Testing with Java.
• Solid Java backend development and testing experience, with BDD and AI-assisted test automation.
• Proven ability to design and implement robust automated test cases in cloud-based environments (Azure) based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Solid understanding of SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab and pipeline automation.
• Strong knowledge of performance testing, load testing, or security testing tools & methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum with cross-functional teams.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 7+ years of experience in Automation Testing with Java, preferably in Banking and Financial Services domain.
• Solid Java Backend development and testing experience along with with behavior‑driven development and AI‑assisted test automation.
• Proven ability to design and implement robust automated test cases in cloud‑based environments (preferably Microsoft Azure) based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Solid understanding of SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools, Git/GitHub/GitLab, and pipeline automation.
• Strong knowledge of performance testing, load testing, or security testing tools and methodologies.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with experience in debugging complex systems and developing scalable test automation solutions.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross‑functional teams.

Nice‑to‑Have Skills Description:

• Hands‑on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to Kafka or other event streaming platforms is a plus.
