Job summary

GlobalLogic in Kraków is seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 5–10 years of experience in embedded systems and healthcare devices. You will design automated tests using Python and contribute to a custom framework, ensuring end-to-end validation of medical device software and cloud interfaces.

The role requires strong knowledge of Linux, Git, and test design, plus ability to collaborate with engineers and customer representatives in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience in QA / Test Automation.
• Strong Python skills and automated test development.
• Experience with custom automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of testing principles, regression, and system testing.
• Experience testing hardware/software integrated systems.
• Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot failures.
• Experience in Linux-based environments and Git workflows.
• Good English communication and collaboration in international settings.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and execute automated test scenarios using Python.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of a custom test automation framework.
• Develop automated tests for hardware/software integrated systems.
• Perform end-to-end testing across device and cloud interactions.
• Validate connectivity, data transfer, and configuration across components.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and system tests.
• Translate system requirements into test cases.
• Investigate failures across hardware, embedded software, app, and cloud layers.
• Collaborate with developers, systems engineers, and QA engineers to resolve defects.
• Maintain test documentation in a regulated medical-device environment.
• Enhance testability and automation coverage.
