Job summary

Coforge is hiring a Senior QA Python Engineer in Krakow, Poland. The role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days on site, with a strong focus on automated testing, Python scripting, and XML testing within a travel/flight system context.

The candidate should have 6+ years of QA experience, expert knowledge of testing, and proficiency with JMeter, Selenium, and QTP. Experience with Jira, GIT, and working with distributed teams is valued.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance testing
• Strong knowledge of testing domain
• Scripting experience in Python
• Experience with XML testing
• Experience in Agile/Iterative Development
• Knowledge of bug tracking tools such as Jira
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g. JMeter, Selenium, QTP)
• Good English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Designs, creates, executes and maintains automated tests
• Designs, creates and maintains test tools
• Document detailed steps to reproduce defects and malfunctions
• Analyses test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action
• Consults with development engineers and business analysts to resolve problems
• Attend status meetings and provide oral and written reports regarding work progress
• May take part in researching best practices, new tools and technology
