CodiLime is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a backend-focused team building and extending AI-assisted integrations. You will create discovery agents, secure connections to customer infrastructure, and deliver data through the platform's ingestion layer.

The role emphasizes ownership, fast iteration, and high-quality code. You’ll work with Python, AI coding tools, REST/gRPC APIs, and modern tech like Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and cloud services.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience with Python.
• Hands-on use of AI coding tools in daily workflow.
• Experience building and maintaining integrations or REST APIs.
• Experience with gRPC is a strong plus.
• Solid unit testing with pytest.
• Fluency with Docker and Docker Compose.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Understanding of core networking concepts and relational DBs (PostgreSQL).
• CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions).
• Cloud experience (AWS) and English at least C1.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain integrations connecting the platform to third-party systems.
• Develop discovery agents that securely connect to customer infrastructure.
• Build and maintain services and APIs delivering data into ingestion layer.
• Write and maintain unit tests and contribute to E2E test automation.
• Explore AI-assisted engineering practices to speed up development and testing.
• Collaborate closely with a small cross-functional team.
• Propose and ship ideas to improve the platform beyond core integration work.
• Contribute to architecture and design as the platform scales.
