Windsor.ai is hiring a Senior Python Engineer to work on core platform services, API connectors, and scalable data synchronization across 300+ third‑party APIs and 30+ destinations. You’ll own Python code, improve reliability, and contribute to fast, production‑grade data pipelines in a remote EU team.

The role emphasizes building robust connectors, handling auth flows, rate limits, pagination, and data formats, with pytest tests, and sprint planning in two‑week cycles.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional programming experience, with strong expertise in Python.
• Experience building and maintaining complex, production‑grade systems.
• Experience integrating third‑party APIs (auth, rate limits, pagination, error handling).
• Deep understanding of Python fundamentals: OOP, mutable vs. immutable types, concurrency (threads/async).
• Solid experience with Linux‑based development and production environments.
• Working knowledge of SQL (we use PostgreSQL).
• You enjoy a fast‑moving organisation where you have real impact and ownership.
• Fluent English (written and spoken), we’re a fully remote, async‑friendly team.
• Willing to complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Build, improve and optimize advanced services built with Python that power data synchronisation across 300+ source APIs and 30+ destinations.
• Develop new connectors and improve existing ones, handling auth flows, rate limiting, retries, pagination, and schema variations.
• Improve scalability and reliability of production systems (performance, concurrency, monitoring, incident prevention).
• Write well‑tested code (pytest) and review merge requests from teammates.
• Work in two‑week sprints with room for shifting priorities, staying pragmatic and not process‑heavy.
