Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Associate within the CIB Treasury to serve as a hands-on Python developer. You will automate Treasury analytics, build data pipelines, and validate outputs to support regulatory deliverables.

Work with SMEs and technology teams to translate methodologies into scalable analytics, improve speed and accuracy, and deliver auditable reporting and documentation for governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in IT/Data Science/Econometrics/Statistics/Finance/Economics or related field.
• Experience building applications, dashboards, or automation for financial analytics.
• Knowledge of Python (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, sklearn, statsmodels) and experience with Git, unit tests and debugging.
• Experience using cloud/data platforms (AWS, Databricks, Snowflake) for Python-based automation and analytics.
• Experience performing data quality checks on large datasets using Excel and Python.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and banking context is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable Python code to automate Treasury analytics and workflows across the CIB Treasury organization.
• Build and enhance forecasting/analytics platforms used by the CIB Treasury organization for reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex products and regulatory rules into robust analytics.
• Design and execute validation and control testing to ensure outputs are accurate, explainable, and auditable.
• Prepare and maintain documentation to support auditability and governance in Treasury contexts.
• Create and maintain business-aligned test cases and adapt them with project changes.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize Python applications and pipelines for runtime stability and observability.
