Job summary

jobr.pro is seeking a Senior Python Software Engineer to design and develop scalable backend services for a data-intensive platform. You will work with a team of engineers to build reliable services, shape technical solutions, and contribute to platform evolution.

You will design and implement REST APIs using Python, process large datasets, adopt cloud-native architectures, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code. Collaboration and mentoring are valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial Python development.
• Experience building backend apps and REST APIs.
• Strong SQL knowledge and PostgreSQL experience.
• Hands-on AWS and/or Azure, Docker, CI/CD.
• Experience with data-intensive apps and large-scale processing.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python.
• Build scalable solutions for processing, integrating and transforming large datasets.
• Contribute to cloud-native architecture, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
• Collaborate with engineers on system design, data modelling and platform improvements.
• Improve software quality through code reviews, automated testing and mentoring less experienced developers.
