Job summary

Adecco Portugal, on behalf of a client, seeks a Senior Python Data Application Engineer in a hybrid role in Warsaw. You will maintain and extend a Python data app used for portfolio analysis, forecasting, and reporting, collaborating with business stakeholders.

We expect 6+ years of Python experience, strong data stack skills, and cloud/DevOps familiarity. The role offers long-term cooperation and hybrid work 2-3 days in office.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional Python engineering experience.
• Strong experience with pandas, NumPy, SQL, and data workflows.
• Experience with FastAPI/Flask/Dash/Streamlit or similar.
• Snowflake or cloud data warehouse experience with secure connectivity.
• Hands-on with Docker or Podman and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to document business rules and analytical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend a Python data application for portfolio analysis and forecasting.
• Diagnose production issues across code, data pipelines, databases, and deployments.
• Improve reliability with automated tests, logging, validation, and CI/CD gates.
• Refine forecasting, inventory projection, and optimization logic with stakeholders.
• Translate planning rules into maintainable algorithms and dashboards.
• Explain analytics logic clearly to both business and technical audiences.
• Ensure data lineage and transparency for dashboard metrics and targets.
• Collaborate with business users to validate forecasts and metrics.
