Job summary

Capgemini Polska is seeking a Python-focused backend developer to design and maintain data pipelines and APIs in a hybrid Warsaw-based role. You will work on ingestion, transformation, and data modelling for pricing and vehicle data, using Airflow, FastAPI/Flask, and SQL databases.

Collaborate with platform owners, architects, and developers, and optionally contribute to the Angular front end. English is required in this international team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Python backend experience with data focus.
• Strong Python with data-processing libraries (e.g., pandas) and REST API development (FastAPI/Flask).
• Solid SQL experience with PostgreSQL and/or Oracle.
• Experience building and orchestrating data pipelines (Airflow).
• Familiar with Git, code review, testing and CI/CD.
• Good understanding of API design and system integration.
• English proficiency for an international team.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain ingestion and transformation pipelines via Airflow.
• Shape and evolve the canonical data model with emphasis on data quality and lineage.
• Build Python services and REST APIs exposing pricing, vehicle, mapping and recommendations.
• Implement integrations with source and downstream systems and external APIs.
• Write clean, tested, documented code; set up data-quality checks.
• Collaborate with platform owners, architects, scrum masters and developers.
• Contribute to Angular front end for pricing features (a plus).
