Sopra Steria Polska is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team for a client in the automotive sector. You will work in a multinational environment (Germany, Poland) on data engineering and infrastructure tasks in Katowice or Gdańsk offices.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering, strong Python and SQL, and hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Glue, Athena). English B2/C1 and willingness to travel abroad are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with complex queries.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services like S3, Glue, Athena.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.
• Experience with Agile ways of working.
• English B2/C1 and willingness to travel abroad.
• EU citizenship or right to work in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and data engineers on data pipelines.
• Build data workflows and maintain data infrastructure.
• Migrate to or update AWS services and automate tasks.
• Code review and collaboration in an IaC environment.
• Deliver reliable data solutions and support regression testing.
