Qualifications

• Previous management experience in Hotel Purchasing is preferred.
• Strong administrative, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changes with flexibility.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
• Solid knowledge of purchasing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure the efficient operation of the Purchasing and Storeroom Department.
• Review purchase contracts and bid proposals for competitive pricing and budget compliance.
• Negotiate prices, place daily orders, ensure prompt delivery.
• Ensure that Purchase Orders are properly completed and in accordance with policies.
• Monitor vendors for quality, service, and price; coordinate with departments on specs.
• Maintain up-to-date price summaries for food, beverages, and inventory stock.
• Research new products and services for the hotel.
• Assist with Operating Capital Expenditures.
• Support sustainability initiatives in purchasing.
• Interact professionally with colleagues, suppliers, and contractors.
• Follow purchasing policies and procedures.
• Develop knowledge of internal procedures and governmental regulations.
