Job summary

Tickmill is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our IT team in Warsaw. You will lead cross-functional IT projects, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and drive on-time delivery in a fast-paced FinTech environment.

You will collaborate with an international IT team, manage risks, and continuously optimize project delivery. The role requires strong English communication, Agile proficiency, and experience with Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager in IT/Tech delivery.
• FinTech or Financial Services experience is a plus.
• Excellent command of English.
• PRINCE2 or PMI PMP certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies across complex projects.
• Experience managing third-party vendors/partners.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.

What does the role look like?

The Senior Project Manager will have the opportunity to:

• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and allocated resources.
• Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
• Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure flawless project execution.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and methodologies.
• Report and escalation issues to management as required.
• Manage relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with third-party vendors.
• Contribute to drafting new and improving existing PMO policies and processes.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Prepare and deliver clear presentations and updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
• Maintain a solution-oriented mindset, continuously seeking opportunities to optimize processes and improve delivery efficiency.

What do you need to succeed in this role?

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Project Manager, with strong IT/technology delivery experience.
• Experience in FinTech or Financial Services is considered an advantage.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• PRINCE2 or PMI PMP certification is considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of Agile methodologies across complex projects.
• Proven experience managing third-party suppliers and partners.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with MS Project.
