Job summary

You will coordinate end-to-end projects spanning CDS, LIMS, ELN, SDMS and QMS, liaising with business, laboratory and IT teams across sites in Europe.

The role requires hands-on ownership of validation activities, CSV and compliance, risk management and robust governance.

A global life sciences organisation is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead delivery across laboratory systems and scientific data initiatives within a regulated environment.

The role will oversee projects spanning chromatography data systems, scientific data platforms, laboratory data integration and related technology upgrades. Working across business, laboratory and IT teams, you will drive projects from initiation through validation and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of laboratory systems and scientific data projects.
• Manage global stakeholders across business, laboratory and IT functions.
• Coordinate project governance, planning, risks, dependencies and reporting.
• Work closely with vendors, validation teams and technical specialists.
• Support deployment of regulated systems within GxP environments.
• Drive alignment between laboratory operations and technology teams.
• Proven delivery experience with Chromatography Data Systems (CDS), such as Waters Empower, Agilent OpenLab or Thermo Fisher Chromeleon.
• Experience delivering Scientific Data Cloud, scientific data management or laboratory data integration projects.
• Strong project management background within pharmaceutical or other GxP-regulated environments.
• Practical knowledge of GAMP5, EU Annex 11 and computer system validation activities.
• Demonstrated success delivering complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, sites and countries.
• Strong governance, planning, risk management and delivery control skills.
• Experience integrating laboratory platforms including CDS, LIMS, ELN, SDMS and QMS solutions.
• Computer System Validation (CSV), LIMS or Quality Systems experience.
• Exposure to scientific data management platforms such as NuGenesis, TetraScience or similar.
• Experience leading proof-of-concept and pilot initiatives.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent).
• Ability to travel within Europe and work with international teams.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate hands‑on ownership of project delivery within regulated laboratory environments, including direct involvement in validation and compliance activities.
