Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
NICOLS is seeking an energetic Project Manager to drive packaging and consumer product initiatives from brief to launch. You will coordinate internal teams and customers, translating needs into actionable plans while managing timelines and risks.
The role emphasizes customer-facing interaction, strong organization, and proactive problem-solving within a family-owned industrial company with decades of expertise in product development and manufacturing.
Make complex projects move. Connect the right people. Handle the unexpected. Turn customer requests into concrete solutions.
Welcome to the world of PLM, where a packaging change can shake
up a timeline, one late decision can impact an entire launch, and a “quick
little customer request” can suddenly become a full-scale project. XXL.
We’re looking for someone who likes to make things happen, find solutions and stay in control when things start going in every possible direction. Behind a toilet block, an air freshener or a sponge is a complex industrial project involving customers, formulas, packaging, artwork, production, regulations, costs, supply chain and — quite often — a few unexpected surprises along the way.
You’ll be the connection point between our customers and our internal teams.
You have around 3–5 years of project management experience, ideally in a customer-facing environment.
FMCG, retail, Customer Service, Key Account Management or PLM experience? Even better.
But what really matters is that you are:
Energetic — you like things to move.
Solution-oriented — you look for the how, not the why it’s impossible.
Curious — you want to understand how things actually work.
Customer‑savvy — even when the conversation gets a little… sporty.
Confident enough to challenge — with diplomacy, but also conviction.
Organized — juggling several projects doesn’t scare you.
Independent & proactive — you see a problem and you do something about it.
Comfortable with ERP, CRM, Excel and other everyday tools. Confident in English.
Seeing a project through both the customer’s eyes and the company’s eyes.
Understand the need.
Spot the constraints.
Identify the risks.
Get the right people around the table.
And above all…
Because we’re not looking for someone who simply follows projects. We’re looking for someone who makes them happen. If you like customers, challenges, projects that move fast and days where no two days look the same…
Then maybe this mission isn’t so impossible after all.
Because what you work on here doesn't stay in a PowerPoint. It becomes a toilet care product, an air freshener, a sponge or a cleaning solution that ends up in consumers' homes across Europe and beyond. You will work in a family-owned industrial company with decades of expertise in product development and manufacturing, where innovation, customer focus and operational excellence come together.
And you will join a culture built around four simple but demanding values:
PASSION. RESPECT. INTEGRITY. EXCELLENCE.
We stay curious.
We support each other.
We work hard — and we have fun.
We make decisions based on facts.
We respect our commitments.
And we continuously look for better solutions.
