Job summary

People More is seeking a Senior Production Support Specialist to lead production incident investigations, coordinate technical teams, and implement permanent improvements across Linux, SQL and automation. The role requires strong knowledge of distributed systems, Kubernetes, and experience with Oracle/MQ/WebSphere, Splunk and AppDynamics.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Production Support, Application Support or Software Engineering.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries.
• Scripting and automation experience with Bash, PowerShell or Python.
• Practical Kubernetes support and maintenance experience.
• Experience supporting Java/J2EE applications.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle, MQ and WebSphere.
• Experience with Splunk and AppDynamics.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and IT infrastructure.
• Experience leading incidents and coordinating technical teams.
• Knowledge of Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.
• Proven experience delivering automation and operational improvements.
• Practical use of AI tools such as Copilot or Claude.
• Very good English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Lead production incident investigation and service recovery.
• Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues using Linux, logs and SQL.
• Coordinate technical teams and communicate with stakeholders.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis and implement permanent improvements.
• Automate operational tasks using Bash, PowerShell or Python.
• Improve monitoring, documentation, runbooks and operational processes.
• Support releases, patching, platform maintenance and Disaster Recovery exercises
