Valeo is a global tech company seeking a Senior Product Engineer to own the low-voltage platform architecture, bridging mechanical, hardware, and software disciplines. You will define system architecture and drive cost-optimized, robust automotive solutions for the eMobility future.

The role requires 5+ years of automotive product development experience and strong cross-functional collaboration across disciplines, with English fluency and a preference for German or French.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
• 5+ years of automotive product development experience across mechanical, hardware, and software.
• English fluency required; German or French is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Architectural Leadership: Define and own the product architecture and component structure in line with modular platform architecture.
• Technical Point of Contact: serve as the primary technical interface for global customers and cross-functional teams.
• System Integration: translate system-level requirements into discipline-specific engineering requirements and ensure interoperability.
• Domain-Specific Leadership: lead technical decisions and estimates within your core area while coordinating with other domains.
• Design & Optimization: drive design-to-cost mindset and manage technical risks within the project architecture.
• Problem Solving & Risk Management: apply root cause analysis methods and lead proactive risk mitigation.
• Standardization & Mentorship: promote engineering standards, support design reviews, and mentor engineers.
