Job summary

UPM in Poland is seeking a Specialist/Senior Specialist in Procurement to join our Direct Procurement Team near Wrocław. You will ensure raw material availability, forecast accuracy, and close collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support European factories.

The role emphasizes data-driven procurement planning, inventory optimisation, and continuous improvement of processes and tools in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in procurement, material planning, inventory management or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with KPI interpretation abilities.
• Proactive, independent approach with ability to own and drive topics to completion.

Responsibilities

• Ensure raw material availability with forecasts and timely supplier communication.
• Maintain knowledge of forecasting, supply planning and replenishment processes in APS (e.g. o9, SAP IBP, Kinaxis).
• Identify and mitigate supply risks, coordinate contingency actions with stakeholders.
• Plan raw material replenishment aligned with production schedules and inventory targets.
• Coordinate creation of new codes and vendor records; maintain master data.
• Lead in reducing slow-moving or obsolete inventory and coordinate resale.
