Job summary

UPM is seeking a Specialist/Senior Specialist, Procurement to join our team in Wrocław/Biskupice Podgórne with a flexible hybrid arrangement. You will manage raw material forecasting, planning, supplier relations and inventory strategies for European factories, ensuring supply continuity and process improvements.

You will leverage SAP/IBP/Kinaxis knowledge, advanced Excel skills and Power BI, while collaborating with global teams to optimize procurement performance and KPIs in a dynamic,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.
• At least 5 years in procurement, material planning, or inventory management in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical skills; ability to translate data into actions.
• Proactive, independent, and able to own tasks to completion.
• Good collaboration and communication with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of SAP and Excel; Power BI is a plus.
• Experience with APS/forecasting systems (o9, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, etc.) is advantageous.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure raw material availability with forecasts and timely supplier communication.
• Maintain forecasting, supply planning and replenishment knowledge in APS tools.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks; coordinate contingency actions with stakeholders.
• Plan raw material replenishment aligned with production schedules and inventory targets.
• Resolve procurement planning exceptions via cross-functional collaboration.
• Create and maintain master data for raw materials and vendors.
• Lead raw material changes from business decisions or development projects.
• Minimize slow-moving inventory and coordinate resale of obsoletes.
• Present topics and recommendations in internal and supplier meetings; back up colleagues as needed.
