Job summary

TuxCare Inc. is seeking a Platform Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team within the Endless Lifecycle Support (ELS) department. This hands-on role spans Platform Engineering, DevOps, and CI/CD, with opportunities to influence architecture and tooling.

You will own the CI/CD and QA platforms end-to-end, ensure reliability and cost efficiency, and collaborate on data-driven capacity decisions. The ideal candidate has senior-level SRE experience, strong Linux/Kubernetes skills, IaC

Qualifications

• Senior-level infrastructure/SRE experience with ownership of production services.
• Linux systems administration on bare metal and VMs.
• Kubernetes in production: running workloads and clusters, including upgrades and GitOps delivery.
• Infrastructure as code (Ansible, Terraform / Terragrunt).
• Production experience with GitLab CI and CI runners.
• Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics and Grafana, including PromQL.
• Technical writing for engineering audiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced use of AI engineering assistants such as Claude and Codex.
• Advanced written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Own the CI/CD and QA platforms end to end, from hardware to developer experience.
• Ensure reliability, quality, scalability and cost of platforms.
• Analyze CI fleet usage and make data-driven capacity and performance decisions.
• Automate tools used by teams to build, test and ship; reduce flaky tests.
• Contribute to platform architecture with engineering teams.
• Maintain service health with monitoring and runbooks; alerts in observability tenant.
• Deploy new services following best practices.
• Support developer requests and create self-service where possible.
• Manage incidents end-to-end: diagnosis, mitigation, post-mortems.
• Deliver infrastructure as code via merge-request reviews.
• Write technical documentation for engineers across teams.
• Collaborate with AI agents and review their outputs.
