Job summary

TuxCare Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join the ELS Delivery Pipeline team within our Endless Lifecycle Support (ELS) product.

You will own production services end-to-end, from clarifying requirements with stakeholders to implementing, deploying, and operating solutions that improve reliability and automate vulnerability workflows. You will build Python services, CLI tools, and integrations, working across ecosystems to diagnose production issues and verify results, while leveraging AI

Qualifications

• Experience building production Python software.
• Strong Linux production-debugging and log analysis skills.
• Experience designing and integrating APIs and services.
• Experience with asynchronous or distributed processing.
• Experience with CI/CD, containers, and deployment automation.
• Solid relational data modeling and SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience using coding agents for engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

• Build pipelines that publish security advisories from vulnerability assessments and released fixes.
• Automate vulnerability assessment across large inventories of packages, versions, and dependencies.
• Integrate vulnerability scanners and connect results to workflows.
• Build and operate Python services, CLI tools, and internal interfaces for engineers.
• Clarify requirements with stakeholders and define verification methods.
• Improve build/deploy automation and monitor production systems.
• Review code and improve automated testing, security, and maintainability.
• Use AI coding agents in day-to-day development and testing.
