Job summary

Zebra Technologies Sp. z o.o. is seeking a SW/FW Senior Platform Engineer (Level 3) to join its smart camera development team in Gliwice. You will drive Linux platform bring-up, build intelligent edge-based vision platforms, and work on platform management services with modern C++ and C.

You will also script automation tasks in Python and Bash, and you will be encouraged to leverage AI coding assistants to accelerate implementation while you design robust, scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux OS fundamentals and system management.
• Ability to read/modify modern C++ code and learn quickly with AI tools.
• Practical experience with Python, Bash, and systemd.

Responsibilities

• System Bring-Up: Linux platform bring-up using Yocto and system initialization with systemd.
• Service Development: Develop and maintain platform management services in modern C++ and C.
• Automation: Script deployment workflows, testing tools, and system behaviors using Python and Bash.
• AI-Assisted Workflows: Integrate agentic AI coding assistants to focus on robust system design.
