Job summary

Nordea is seeking a DevOps/Platform Engineer to join the Application Server Automation - Platform Engineering team in Poland. You’ll architect, implement and manage automation for infrastructure and middleware provisioning, and build systems to support development initiatives across a global team.

You will work with Tekton, Argo CD, Terraform and Kubernetes to drive CI/CD and container platforms, mentoring juniors, and contributing to the modernization of our middleware stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Platform Engineering / DevOps experience
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic and/or OSB/SOA
• Unix shells scripting experience and cloud networking knowledge
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and mentor juniors

Responsibilities

• Build CI/CD systems to support end-to-end pipelines for developers and teams (Tekton, Argo CD, Jenkins)
• Automate provisioning of application servers and middleware
• Develop new features for middleware on container platforms (Kubernetes)
• Conduct regular code reviews and daily commits
• Mentor and pair program with junior team members
