Job summary

Frontiers is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) to shape and run AI-enabled delivery capabilities. You’ll own a platform domain end-to-end, shipping guardrails, self-service templates, and a developer portal to empower stream-aligned teams.

Collaborate with Platform PMs and Cloud Architects to make the platform fast, safe, and scalable. You’ll bring 5+ years of cloud platform experience, strong Azure/Kubernetes skills, and a product mindset for internal

Qualifications

Full-stack software engineer with production experience in modern stacks (C#/Node.js/Python/Go).
5+ years building and operating cloud platforms or infrastructure.
Hands-on Azure and Kubernetes (AKS); IaC and GitOps are essential.
Experience with CI/CD tooling and modern pipelines; GitHub Actions preferred.
Strong English, cross-team collaboration, and product-minded approach to internal tooling.

Responsibilities

Build and operate the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) as a product.
Own CI/CD and GitOps; migrate from legacy Azure DevOps to GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
Provision cloud infrastructure as code (Azure, AKS, databases, APIs).
Improve observability, define SLOs, and drive reliability and cost-efficiency.
Advance AI-first delivery and agent workflows, with governance and context for internal users.
Set end-to-end standards for a platform domain and mentor teams on best practices.
