Job summary

Vention is hiring a software engineer in Gdansk to contribute to robust, production-ready code across the full development lifecycle. You will participate in Scrum rituals and knowledge-sharing events, helping shape timelines through accurate estimation and planning.

You will review code, write tests, and support CI while applying AI tools for agentic development; Docker and AWS experience is a strong plus. English proficiency at B2 or higher is required.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of software development experience using PHP.
• Solid experience with Laravel or Symfony.
• Working knowledge of TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with React or Angular would be a plus.
• Strong experience using AI tools for agentic development.
• Experience with Docker and AWS is a big advantage.
• English level B2 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of robust solutions with a focus on delivering high-quality, production-ready code
• Take part in the full software development lifecycle, including business logic implementation
• Join Scrum ceremonies, demo sessions, and team knowledge-sharing events like Idea Talks
• Participate in project estimation and planning to help shape development timelines
• Conduct code reviews, write tests, and support continuous integration of new technologies
• Optionally, engage in technical interviews, mentorship, or present at internal and external dev-focused meetups
