Job summary

KOSTAL Group in Wrocław is seeking a skilled PCB Layout Lead for our Automotive Research & Development Center Poland. You will coordinate a Layout Design Team, align PCB requirements with hardware engineers and production, and develop placement studies and production-ready documentation.

You will bring seven years of PCB layout experience, strong Siemens Xpedition expertise, an electrical engineering degree, and good knowledge of electronics and EMC.

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in PCB layout.
• Strong experience with Siemens Xpedition is a must.
• Degree in electrical engineering or comparable field is required.
• Good knowledge of electronics, circuits, and EMC topics.
• Enthusiasm and experience in hardware design.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to guide a technical team.
• English at least B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Technical coordination of the Layout Design Team.
• Aligning PCB design requirements with hardware designers and production facilities.
• Creating placement studies, layout documentation, and production-specific documents.
• Supporting procurement of PCBs and building samples.
• Collaborating on design rules and introducing new PCB technologies.

Description

• technical coordination of the Layout Design Team,

• supporting the procurement of PCBs and building samples,
• collaborating on design rules and introducing new PCB technologies.

Qualifications

• minimum seven years of experience in PCB layout,
• strong experience with Siemens Xpedition is a must,
• successfully completed degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field,
• good knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, and EMC topics,
• enthusiasm and experience in hardware design,
• strong communication skills,
• team player with flexibility and resilience,
• ability to guide a technical team,
• knowledge of English at a minimum B2 level.

Preferred Qualifications

• Having experience in automotive development and HyperLynx is beneficial.
