Job summary

KOSTAL Automotive Research & Development Center Poland Sp. z o.o. in Wrocław seeks a Senior PCB Layouter to join our engineering team.

You will lead the Layout Design Team and coordinate PCB designs with hardware designers and production facilities. You will create placement studies, layout documentation, and production-specific documents, support PCB procurement, and help introduce new PCB technologies.

Qualifications

• minimum seven years of experience in PCB layout
• strong experience with Siemens Xpedition is a must
• successfully completed degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field
• good knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, and EMC topics
• enthusiasm and experience in hardware design
• team player with flexibility and resilience
• ability to guide a technical team
• knowledge of English at a minimum B2 level

Responsibilities

• technical coordination of the Layout Design Team
• aligning requirements for PCB designs with the responsible hardware designers and production facilities
• creating placement studies, layout documentation, and production-specific documents
• supporting the procurement of PCBs and building samples
• collaborating on design rules and introducing new PCB technologies
