Job description

We’re looking for a Electronics Engineer with good all-round experience. Given the appropriate documentation and information, you should be able to ideate a circuit diagram and bring it to a complete, production-ready final design as a part of a larger PCB, all the way up to board bring‑up. Not on the first run of course – PCB design is a complex beast, and we’ll go over several test batches to iron out any issues.

  • You’ll work as part of a team, so we expect you to be able to enter the pipeline at any stage. That means working with other people’s designs and documentation. Our engineering and managerial staff are well versed in EE, and we encourage a free flow of ideas and experience - it’s beneficial for everyone, especially in EE where practical experience matters a lot.
  • You’ll work with people of similarly broad skillset, in a lab adequately equipped to handle most of the cases we’ll be dealing with. That includes high-speed digital IO, like DDR3/DDR4 memory, PCIe and USB 3.0 and above. You’ll also be dealing with radio signals (WiFi, Bluetooth, etc), power sections and super‑silent power domains. Ability to design analog electronics is a huge bonus.
  • Manual skills are a huge bonus too. This is development work, so rerouting path traces using enamel wire on a prototype or desoldering/resoldering components is a part of the job. If you can’t do it, or don’t want to do it, it’s fine – someone else will handle that. But we expect you’ll be able to instruct your colleagues on what needs to be done.
  • Due to the nature of this work, you will most likely need to work from the office, to guarantee that you have access to the lab facilities. But only when necessary – we practice flex hours and remote work successfully, and it’s the work done that matters above anything else. People differ, so if you feel that you can be successful working remotely – we’re open for discussion.
  • No minimal years of experience required. We value you for your skills, and that’s what we’ll focus on during the interview.
Responsibilities
  • You’ll be designing circuit schematics and PCBs for both digital and analog circuits with strong focus on:
    • High frequency digital lanes and radio signals (WiFi, Bluetooth, etc)
    • Power sections, super‑silent power domains
    • Analog electronics
    • High Speed IO (DDR3/4, PCIe, USB 3.0 and higher, etc)
What we are looking for
  • You’ll have to be available on location. We practice flex hours, and you can work remotely for a part of the week, but you’ll need access to the lab facilities, devices, and be able to work on‑site when the need arises.
  • You are able to design a circuit schematic diagram by yourself and as part of a team, and work on existing designs.
  • You can design a PCB layout and trace on the basis of a schematic, or modify existing trace and layout.
  • You're capable of performing a board bring‑up based on schematics and documentation.
  • You have good knowledge of Altium Designer.
  • No minimum years of experience, but we expect you to prove the quality of your work with existing projects.
  • Experience with Radio Certification (i.e. WiFi) is very welcome.
Nice to haves:
