Job summary

KOSTAL Automotive Research & Development Center Poland in Wrocław seeks a seasoned PCB Layout Engineer to lead a technical team and align layout work with hardware design and production. You will develop placement studies, document layouts, and support PCB procurement for samples.

Responsibilities include applying design rules, introducing new PCB technologies, and collaborating with an international team. A seven-year PCB layout background and English at B2 level are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of experience in PCB layout.
• Degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field.
• Good knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, and EMC topics.
• English knowledge at B2 level or higher.

Job Description

• technical coordination of the Layout Design Team,
• aligning requirements for PCB designs with the responsible hardware designers and production facilities,
• creating placement studies, layout documentation, and production-specific documents,
• supporting the procurement of PCBs and building samples,
• collaborating on design rules and introducing new PCB technologies.

Qualifications

• minimum seven years of experience in PCB layout,
• strong experience with Siemens Xpedition is a must,
• successfully completed degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field,
• good knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, and EMC topics,
• enthusiasm and experience in hardware design,
• strong communication skills,
• team player with flexibility and resilience,
• ability to guide a technical team,
• knowledge of English at a minimum B2 level.

Preferred Qualifications

• Having experience in automotive development and HyperLynx is beneficial.
