payabl. is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to work with payment data at scale, turning questions into decisions through dashboards and insights. You'll own the analysis and work with our data stack, including Superset and Druid, while collaborating with a dedicated data engineering team.

You will build dashboards, prepare datasets, apply statistics, and present findings to stakeholders. The role offers a Cyprus office location with remote options for Europe and a clear path to impact across

Qualifications

• Strong SQL, including window functions and CTEs.
• Python for analysis with pandas and visualization libraries.
• Experience with relational and analytical databases (PostgreSQL).
• Experience building dashboards in BI tools (Superset, Tableau, Power BI).
• Comfort with notebooks (JupyterHub) for exploration and reporting.
• Version control with Git and code review workflows.

Responsibilities

• Investigate payment performance questions end to end and explain causes.
• Prepare datasets by filtering, handling missing values, and validating quality.
• Apply statistics to identify patterns and quantify real changes.
• Build and maintain Superset dashboards and Druid data cubes used daily.
• Prepare recurring internal/regulatory reports with accuracy and traceability.
• Automate recurring analysis and reporting to scale with growth.
• Present insights with evidence-based recommendations to stakeholders.
• Partner with other departments to translate business questions into analyses.
