Job summary

payabl. is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to transform payment data into actionable insights. You will work with high-volume transaction data, build dashboards, and present findings to stakeholders. You’ll own the analysis and insights while collaborating with data engineers on the platform.

You will leverage SQL, Python, and BI tools to develop scalable analyses, contribute to regulatory reporting, and automate recurring deliverables for efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL with window functions and good data quality checks.
• Proficient Python for analytics and data processing.
• Experience building dashboards in BI/analytical tools.
• Familiarity with relational/OLAP databases and data lakes.

Responsibilities

• Investigate payment performance questions end to end and explain causes.
• Prepare datasets by filtering, imputing, and validating quality.
• Apply statistical techniques to identify patterns and trends.
• Build and maintain Superset dashboards and data cubes for daily use.
• Prepare recurring reports for internal, regulatory, and scheme reporting.
• Automate recurring analyses and reporting to scale with business.
