payabl. is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and scale our infrastructure while supporting the Data Engineering team. You will work with Banking, Payments, and payabl.one squads to enable fast, reliable releases across our global payments platform.

The role emphasizes infrastructure as code, security, and cross-team collaboration. Remote-friendly with international teams, you will influence how services are built, deployed, and operated at scale.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience with containerization (Kubernetes/Docker) and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency provisioning infrastructure and managing configs with Ansible/Terraform/AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of AWS Data Lake services (Glue, Athena).
• Linux experience with Bash/Python/Perl and Debian/Ubuntu/RHEL.
• Experience automating CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• Nice to have Kafka knowledge.
• Excellent communication and English, with coaching mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Build, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters with code-first infrastructure.
• Collaborate with teams to identify platform pain points.
• Develop new tools and frameworks to improve data platforms.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab).
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Ansible/Terraform/AWS CloudFormation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Apply security best practices and ensure compliance.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor teammates.
