Job summary

Belvedere in Warsaw seeks a Senior OpenShift Platform Engineer to design and maintain enterprise OpenShift platforms in a hybrid environment, ensuring secure and scalable cloud-native infrastructure.

You will work with Cilium, eBPF, and Kubernetes CNI frameworks to deliver highly available clusters, automate lifecycle management, and collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to uphold best practices.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in platform engineering or related infrastructure roles.
• Deep expertise in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform administration and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes cluster management and operations.
• Hands-on experience with container networking technologies including Cilium and eBPF.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes CNI frameworks and OVN-Kubernetes architectures.
• Experience designing and implementing network policies, service connectivity and ingress/egress controls.
• Strong understanding of high availability, scalability and performance optimisation principles.
• Demonstrated ability to develop automation solutions for platform lifecycle management.
• Experience with security best practices in containerised environments.
• Proven troubleshooting skills for complex infrastructure and networking issues.
• Red Hat Linux knowledge and experience.
• Ability to create clear technical documentation and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy enterprise Red Hat OpenShift container platforms across multiple environments.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters with focus on availability, scalability and security.
• Implement container networking solutions including CNI frameworks and OVN-Kubernetes architectures.
• Configure advanced networking, network policies and ingress/egress controls.
• Deploy and support Cilium and Isovalent Enterprise for secure Kubernetes networking.
• Leverage eBPF technologies to enhance networking, security and observability capabilities.
• Develop automation solutions for platform provisioning, upgrades and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with application, security and infrastructure teams to ensure platform stability.
• Monitor platform health, capacity and performance while identifying optimisation opportunities.
• Implement security best practices across Kubernetes and OpenShift environments.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and container-related issues in production.
• Create technical documentation, operational procedures and architectural standards.
