Deel is seeking a Senior Payroll Associate to own payroll processing for Norwegian employees, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize payroll workflows and implement process improvements across assigned regions.

Required are a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting, 3+ years in payroll, strong knowledge of Norwegian payroll laws, and proficiency in English and Excel/Google Sheets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting must be completed.
• 3+ years of payroll experience or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Norwegian payroll laws and regulations.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll data processing for Norwegian employees.
• Maintain accurate employee records and payroll documentation.
• Verify and reconcile payroll data including salaries and deductions.
• Assist with payroll tax calculations and filings.
• Provide support to employees on payroll-related questions.
