Qualifications

• 5+ years of software eng, with Node.js and React hands-on.
• Experience designing and versioning REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Familiar with Git workflows, CI/CD, and cloud infra (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Strong system-design instincts: data modelling and event-driven thinking.
• Proficient with relational databases and SQL; NoSQL like MongoDB.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging across distributed systems.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Able to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship production features end-to-end across Node.js backends and React frontends.
• Design, build, and version REST or GraphQL APIs that serve as the contract between frontend and backend systems.
• Make architecture decisions around data modelling, service boundaries, and component design.
• Model and query data across relational and NoSQL stores, choosing the right database and structure for each use case.
• Write clean, well-tested code and set up the observability needed to catch and debug issues in live systems.
