We are seeking Senior Software Engineers specializing in Node.js/React to build scalable systems for millions of users, collaborating closely with product and design to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on Node.js and React.
• Hands-on experience designing and versioning REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with modern git workflows, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Strong system-design instincts: data modelling, component architecture, and event-driven thinking.
• Comfortable with relational databases and SQL, plus NoSQL such as MongoDB.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills across distributed systems.
• Excellent English communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship production features end-to-end across Node.js backends and React frontends, owning your work from implementation through deployment.
• Design, build, and version REST or GraphQL APIs that serve as the contract between frontend and backend systems.
• Make architecture decisions around data modelling, service boundaries, and component design, applying event-driven thinking where it fits.
• Model and query data across relational and NoSQL stores, choosing the right database and structure for each use case.
• Write clean, well-tested code and set up the observability needed to catch and debug issues in live systems.
