Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Node.js Developer to join a newly formed team focused on product analytics and telemetry platform. The role offers a hybrid work model based in Kraków, with up to 6 days per month in the office.

You will design scalable architectures, implement robust APIs, and collaborate with internal technology customers to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance user satisfaction. This position requires strong Node.js experience and English proficiency.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Node.js Developer to join a newly formed team working on product analytics and telemetry platform. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge IT technologies while collaborating closely with internal technology customers to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance user satisfaction. The position offers a hybrid work model based in Cracow, allowing for flexibility in your work environment.

Your tasks

• Participating in software architecture design to create scalable and efficient solutions
• Implementing solutions according to best design patterns and industry standards
• Analyzing requirements to fully understand solutions and recommending improvements
• Creating comprehensive and clear documentation for developed solutions to ensure maintainability
• Developing and working on application prototypes to validate concepts and designs
• Managing changes through the service management lifecycle to ensure smooth transitions
• Involving actively in automation and improving the service management lifecycle
• Communicating effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in backend development
• Deep expertise in Node.js and Web API development
• Strong database design and SQL skills with PostgreSQL
• Practical experience in the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Proficiency in Git
• Advanced level of English
• Willingness to work from the Kraków office up to 6 days per month

Nice to have

• Experience with Go language
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular 2+
• Knowledge of HTML 5 and CSS
• Experience supporting a production environment with strong service management skills
