Choice is a leading European food-tech B2B SaaS platform powering thousands of restaurants with a unified digital ecosystem including QR payments, online reservations, and delivery management.

We are hiring a Node.js Developer to join our remote-first engineering team. You will build high-performance, scalable backend services, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and leverage AI-powered tools to boost productivity and delivery speed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial backend development experience.
• Strong Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency.
• Experience with MongoDB data modeling and Redis caching.
• Docker experience and cloud (GCP) familiarity.
• REST APIs, microservices, and design patterns knowledge.
• Experience using AI-powered coding tools to improve code quality.
• Proactive communicator in a remote-first environment.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes or CI/CD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services with Node.js.
• Work with MongoDB and Redis for storage, indexing, caching.
• Build and manage containerized apps with Docker; deploy on GCP.
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver features.
• Ensure performance, security, reliability across services.
• Write clean, testable code following best practices.
• Leverage AI-powered coding tools to boost productivity.
