Job summary

Commit seeks a Senior Node.js Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and scaling of high-performance systems in a cloud-first environment. You will architect complex Node.js applications, drive microservices and data pipelines, and work with AWS to ensure reliability and throughput.

As a senior member, you will mentor junior developers, optimize code for low latency, and contribute to the evolution of our data platforms in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Back end development experience.
• Proven track record building APIs and microservices.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript and Node.js (Express or similar).
• Experience with asynchronous programming and scalable design principles.
• Familiarity with Redis, MongoDB, and queuing systems (RabbitMQ, SQS, Gearman).
• Experience with AWS and GCP, Linux, and CI/CD processes.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and related tooling (Helm, ArgoCD, Prometheus) is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead high-performance, scalable Node.js applications and microservices in a cloud environment (AWS).
• Design data pipelines and big data processing systems across operational/analytic platforms.
• Mentor junior developers and drive code quality, testing, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure configurations.
