Mimica, an AI-powered process intelligence platform, is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to scale our MERN-based platform. You will design scalable architecture, build high-throughput services, and own API and data-layer reliability in service of our global customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Proficiency in TypeScript with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing APIs and managing PostgreSQL or MongoDB databases.
• Understanding of distributed systems, microservices, scalability.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to architectural decisions and product improvements.
• Develop and optimize a real-time backend service for multi-user graph editing and AI model retraining.
• Create libraries and APIs in Node.js to interface with ML components.
• Diagnose fault-tolerance, availability issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Refactor components and write documentation for implementations.
• Provide feedback via pair programming and code reviews; mentor teammates.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding; take on end-to-end project management as we grow.
