Job summary

Be | Shaping the Future Poland is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead the Data Center Network team and own the RUN environment, focusing on Cisco ACI and Nexus platforms. You will coordinate engineers, drive design and operations, and ensure high availability.

Responsibilities include incident leadership, change and problem management, and documentation, with growth opportunities as Huawei CloudEngine evolves the stack toward 2028 and beyond.

Qualifications

• CCNP Data Center or CCIE Data Center certification (or equivalent).
• Strong experience with Cisco ACI (APIC, EPGs, Contracts).
• Strong experience with Cisco Nexus (NX-OS, vPC).
• Experience in technical leadership and mentoring of engineering teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills in enterprise data centers.

The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the technical leadership and coordination of Network Engineers within the Data Center Network product area. The role includes operational responsibility for the RUN environment, covering configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Cisco ACI (including APIC, EPGs, and Contracts) and Cisco Nexus platforms (NX-OS, vPC), as well as supporting the planned transition to Huawei CloudEngine technologies from 2028 onward.

Key responsibilities include acting as Technical Lead during major incidents, including participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation, and managing Change, Release, Incident, and Problem Management processes. The role also covers Event, Availability, Capacity, Vulnerability, and CMDB Management to ensure a stable, secure, and high-performing data center network environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical leadership and coordination of Network Engineers within the Data Center Network service
• Network planning, design, and architecture
• Installation and configuration of network components
• Network performance optimization
• Configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Cisco ACI environments, including APIC, EPGs, and Contracts
• Configuration, administration, and support of Cisco Nexus platforms (NX-OS, vPC)
• Support for the adoption and integration of Huawei CloudEngine technologies
• Quality assurance of network configurations, including analysis and troubleshooting in accordance with client operational processes
• Implementation of planned network changes following established client change management procedures
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation in accordance with client documentation standards
• Technical Lead for Major Incidents, including participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation
• Management of Change, Release, Incident, and Problem processes
• Event, Availability, Capacity, Vulnerability, and CMDB Management

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Cisco CCNP Data Center or CCIE Data Center certification (or equivalent)
• Strong experience with Cisco ACI, including APIC, EPGs, and Contracts
• Strong experience with Cisco Nexus switching platforms (NX-OS, vPC)
• Experience in technical leadership and mentoring of engineering teams
• Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills in enterprise data center environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Huawei HCIP or HCIE Datacom certification
• Experience with Huawei Data Center Network (DCN) solutions or willingness to rapidly acquire expertise
• ITIL knowledge and experience
• Experience with network automation tools such as Ansible and Python
• Experience with CheckMK monitoring solutions
• German language skills are an advantage
• Knowledge of Capacity, Vulnerability, and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) processes
