Be | Shaping the Future Poland is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead network engineers within the Campus LAN service. You will own technical leadership, incident handling, and ensure network design and configuration quality for enterprise environments.
Key responsibilities include 24/7 on-call coverage, change control, event management with CheckMK, and ongoing audits plus DR/BCP readiness. Strong certifications and automation tooling are highly valued.
Qualifications
- Cisco CCNA or CCNP Enterprise certification.
- Strong experience with Cisco Catalyst platforms (IOS/IOS-XE).
- Experience in technical leadership and mentoring of teams.
- Strong troubleshooting and operational support in enterprise network environments.
- LANCOM LCSP certification (preferred).
- ITIL knowledge and experience (preferred).
- Experience with Ansible and Python for automation.
- Experience with CheckMK monitoring.

The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the technical leadership and coordination of Network Engineers within the Campus LAN product area. The role includes operational responsibility for the RUN environment, covering configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Cisco Catalyst (IOS/IOS-XE) infrastructure and, in the future, LANCOM solutions.
Key responsibilities include acting as Technical Lead during major incidents, including participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation, and managing Change, Release, Incident, and Problem Management processes. The role also covers Event and Availability Management (using CheckMK), as well as Capacity, Vulnerability, and CMDB Management. Support for audits, Continuous Service Improvement (CSI), and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR) activities is required.
- Technical leadership and coordination of Network Engineers within the Campus LAN service

- Implementation of planned network changes following established client change management procedures
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation in accordance with client documentation standards
- Technical Lead for Major Incidents, including participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation
- Management of Change, Release, Incident, and Problem processes
- Event and Availability Management using CheckMK
- Capacity, Vulnerability, and CMDB Management
- Support for audits, Continuous Service Improvement (CSI), and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR) activities

- Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills in enterprise network environments
- LANCOM certification (LCSP)
- ITIL knowledge and experience
- Experience with network automation tools such as Ansible and Python
- Experience with CheckMK monitoring solutions
- German language skills are an advantage
- Knowledge of Capacity, Vulnerability, and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) processes
