Job summary

Adler Pelzer Group in Poland seeks a Chief Financial Accountant to lead accounting across our two sites in Bielsko-Biała and Gliwice. You will manage local accounting teams and drive accurate financial records and reporting in line with company policies.

Responsibilities include VAT and corporate income tax prep, annual budgets and forecasts, and monthly/quarterly/annual reporting. You will work with the Financial Director and Plant Manager to identify improvements and savings.

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics or Finance.
• Min. 5 years experience in a similar finance/accounting role in a manufacturing company.
• Knowledge and ability to interpret accounting and tax regulations.
• High level of accuracy and detail orientation.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage team workload.
• Ability or experience in leading accounting/finance teams and their development.

Responsibilities

• Keep accounting and tax records according to policy and legal requirements.
• Communicate with tax, customs and regulatory authorities; provide required documents and statements.
• Prepare VAT and corporate income tax returns.
• Draft annual budgets and related forecasts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for sites with high accuracy.
• Collaborate with Financial Director and Plant Manager on improvements and savings.
• Supervise and develop site accounting teams.
