Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Senior Engineer who aspires to become a Modern Workplace Architect. You’ll contribute to architecture design, transformation planning and customer discussions while gaining hands‑on experience across identity, endpoint management and workplace technologies.

As a Modern Workplace Senior Engineer you implement enterprise‑level solutions across the full device lifecycle—from provisioning and configuration to security, updates and decommissioning.

Qualifications

• 6+ years IT experience.
• Experience as a Modern Workplace Senior Engineer in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and other endpoint management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure Modern Workplace solutions across endpoint management, identity, applications, and related services.
• Translate architecture designs and technical requirements into production‑ready configurations.
• Build and maintain device provisioning, configuration, compliance, and security policies.
• Execute migration activities, including technical preparation, testing, deployment, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Develop automation for device provisioning, configuration, reporting, and operational activities.
• Manage application packaging, deployment, updates, and retirement processes.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to other engineers.

Your role

This role is designed for experienced Senior Engineers who aspire to become Modern Workplace Architects. Beyond hands‑on implementation, you will gain exposure to architecture design, transformation planning, and customer‑facing discussions, building the skills and experience required to take the next step in your career.

As a Modern Workplace Senior Engineer, you bring strong hands‑on experience in identity, endpoint management, and workplace technologies. You implement enterprise‑level Modern Workplace solutions across the full device lifecycle, from provisioning and configuration to security, updates, migration, and decommissioning.

You work closely with architects and other engineers. Depending on project needs, you may contribute to migrations, cloud transformations, endpoint modernization, or service optimization.

Your projects

• User, device, and workload migrations between different environments
• Hybrid‑to‑cloud transformations
• Endpoint modernization, including Intune adoption, co‑management exit, Windows 11, and Windows 365
• Tenant‑to‑tenant migrations, carve‑outs, mergers, and platform consolidations

Your tasks

• Implement and configure Modern Workplace solutions across endpoint management, identity, applications, and related services

Your profile

• 6+ years experience in IT
• Experience as a Modern Workplace Senior Engineer in enterprise environments
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Intune and other endpoint management platforms is a plus
• Automation and scripting skills
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues
• Good communication skills and confidence in working with technical teams, stakeholders
• Fluent English, both spoken and written. German is a plus
