Job summary

Jabra is seeking a Senior Mobile QA Engineer to drive testing quality for the Jabra Enhance mobile app. You will design, implement, and execute testing strategies across iOS and Android, partner with product, design and engineering, and ensure defects are resolved before releases.

Your work will focus on building robust test plans, executing test cases, and maintaining high-quality standards while enabling faster delivery and a better user experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience testing native mobile apps on iOS and Android.
  • Proven ability to design and execute test plans for mobile releases.
  • Strong defect tracking and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to understand feature requirements and testing needs.
  • Develop and execute test cases for new mobile features and product releases.
  • Create test plans covering the scope, strategy, and risk areas for major releases.
  • Identify, document, and track defects while supporting investigation and resolution.
  • Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are properly resolved before release.
  • Communicate testing progress and quality status to stakeholders.
  • Act as a key contributor to maintaining the overall quality of the mobile application.

In the role of Senior Mobile QA Engineer in the Jabra Hearing Engineering team, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. You will ensure the quality and reliability of the Jabra Enhance mobile application by designing and executing effective testing processes that help deliver stable, high-quality features to our customers.

You will join the Jabra Hearing Engineering team working on the Jabra Enhance Select mobile application, which enables users to manage their hearing experience through intuitive and reliable digital solutions.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to understand feature requirements and testing needs
  • Develop and execute test cases for new mobile features and product releases
  • Create test plans covering the scope, strategy, and risk areas for major releases
  • Identify, document, and track defects while supporting investigation and resolution
  • Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are properly resolved before release
  • Communicate testing progress and quality status to stakeholders
  • Act as a key contributor to maintaining the overall quality of the Jabra Enhance Select mobile application.
To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:
  • Have a background in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Have extensive experience testing native mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms
  • Understand mobile development environments, testing tools, and UI testing practices
  • Are comfortable investigating issues and performing root cause analysis
  • Are familiar with connectivity features such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Possess a curious mindset, are willing to adjust, and enjoy investigating alternative testing techniques
  • Enjoy improving quality processes and turning failures into learning opportunities
  • Nice to have: Experience with tools such as qTest, Jira, Amplitude, Figma, Proxyman, and ADB (Android Debug Bridge), or similar, is very beneficial.
